Gruntek: Rent-a-garden website and web shop

Website that offers subscriptions to real gardens where people can choose vegetables that will be planted and grown for them.

Brief

Gruntek enables people to rent their own garden and have organic food grown for them. It works like this:

  1. On the website, users can rent their own garden (40m2) via a yearly subscription.
  2. They look at the calendar where they can choose which vegetables they want the Gruntek team to plant and grow for them.
  3. The growth of the garden can be followed through email notifications.
  4. Once the organic vegetables are ripe, they can be delivered to the subscriber’s home or she/he can pick them in person at the garden.

The idea was received with great enthusiasm from the public, especially because it was launched during the pandemic. The Gruntek project met people’s needs about having organic, bio vegetables delivered from a trusted source.
